Job Summary:
Report to and under the direction of the Director of Facility Operations, the position will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, office work and administrative duties. This role is part-time with the potential of being hired on full-time.
Primary Job Duties:
The Maintenance Technician position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:
Prioritize and perform daily work orders in a timely manner and identify capabilities of in-house resources and the need for third-party contractors
Retain maintenance logs and records
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to the properties mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing, life safety, fire protection, carpentry and security systems
Assist the Director of Facility Operations with "as needed" projects, including obtaining quotes, scheduling work outside vendors and managing cleaning staff
Break down and setup furniture as needed throughout facility for facility needs
Facilitate and assist with cleaning task around the facility
Proactively monitor and adjust building automation system to ensure proper comfort levels are met for all guests, staff, and players
Proactively seek pristine standards across facility through needs such as patch, painting, lighting replacement, repairs to doors, windows, drywall, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
3 to 5 years in skilled trades apprenticeship program or certification/license
Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the successful performance of maintenance duties as a skilled technician in one or more or the following β carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, maintenance, and repairs of the building
Universal EPA Certification
Strong knowledge of boiler and chiller plants, water treatment, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, BAS controls, and life safety
Ability to read blueprints
Previous experience with managing staff
Above average computer skills with experience using Microsoft office and Outlook
Ability to communicate clearly and follow direction
Will accept long and unpredictable hours, seasonally scheduling
Represent the Arizona Cardinals in a professional, and ethical manner
Position Information:
Walking and/or standing on feet as well as lifting furniture, supplies, deliveries, or equipment
Work will include handling power tools and mechanical equipment
Indoor and outdoor projects in extreme temperatures can be expected
