Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and responsible candidate to join our facilities team, to assist at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center and the Business office. This person will serve as the main point of contact at the business office and will be responsible for successful execution of all maintenance and janitorial services.

Primary Job Duties:

The Facility Technician will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation the following:

  • Prioritize and identify capabilities of in-house resources and the need for third-party contractors
  • Complete and retain maintenance logs and records
  • Facilitate "as needed" projects including obtaining quotes, scheduling work with outside vendors and managing cleaning staff
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems
  • Act as liaison with contractors and vendors performing repairs and maintenance
  • Manage CMMS software including inputting and assigning work orders, monitor the workflow, and updating the inventory
  • Report irregularities, discrepancies, damages or loss of property or any other safety concerns to Director, Facility Operations
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks assigned, such as replacing filters, clean cooling towers, clean condenser coils, and replacing batteries
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime
  • Inventory supplies and re-order as needed
  • Ensure compliance of all safety and sanitary standards
  • Assist in developing Operating and Capital Expense budgets
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: CPO Certification preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years related experience in the public facility or sports industry
  • Previous experience working in professional sports environments
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while exercising judgement and initiative, while also being able to be collaborative and team-oriented
  • Ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment, handle multiple tasks at one time, and be able to meet deadlines
  • Flexible schedule including the ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays, long and unpredictable hours, and be on-call
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and the heating and air conditioning trades
  • Represent the Arizona Cardinals in a professional and ethical manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft platform (word, excel, outlook, teams)
  • Licensed to operate motor vehicle in the United States
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
  • Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds on a regular basis
