Key Performance Indicators:

1. To achieve over 90% satisfaction on the Academy House Food Provision survey.

2. To demonstrate impeccable and consistent time management throughout working week.

3. To establish & develop strong working relationships with the Academy Players & Staff

4. To introduce new & innovative meals to the Academy & Academy House meal plan.

5. To support the Academy in achieving a ‘Grade 5’ in in the annual health and safety check.

1. Responsible for Ordering the Food for the Academy House in-line with planned meals and dietary requirements.

2. Responsible for cooking the food provision at the Academy House during the week.

3. To adhere to all policies and procedures including health and safety regulations sanitation and food hygiene.

4. Ensure that the kitchen cleaning schedule is adhered to effectively.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 Professional Cookery

Level 2 Accredited Health & Safety Certificate

Level 2 Accredited Food Hygiene Certificate

DBS Clearance

Standards Responsibilities:

Macro / Annual:

- To work closely with the Academy MDT (S&C, Nutritionist, Lead Phase Coaches, Academy House Staff)

- To support Academy Head Chef on all relevant services delivered at the Academy and Academy House.

Meso / 8 Weekly Blocks:

- To manage the control of hygiene and health and safety including food and fridge temperature record checks.

- To ensure that all cooking equipment is maintained, and faults reported.

- To plan creative, innovative, and nutritious menus for players, staff, and visitors at the Academy House.

- To conduct a deep clean at the Academy House and Academy Kitchen monthly.

Micro / Weekly:

- Responsible for Ordering the Food for the Academy House in-line with planned meals and dietary requirements.

- Responsible for cooking the food provision at the Academy House during the week.

- To adhere to all policies and procedures including health and safety regulations sanitation and food hygiene.

- Ensure that portion control is observed consistently.

- Ensure that the kitchen cleaning schedule is adhered to effectively.

- Be responsible for maintaining food safety, preparation, and production.

- Administration duties attached to the post.

- Cater to the individual player requirements, including all relevant food allergens and nutritional supplements.

- Ensure that the highest standards of customer care are upheld, including handling positive and negative feedback swiftly, effectively, and professionally.

Safe to Operate Responsibilities:

1. Staff must evidence a commitment to the safety and welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk regardless of their age, gender, language, religion, ethnic background, or sexual identity and ensure the safety and protection of all children, young people and adults at risk taking part in any activity arranged by or in the name of the Club.

2. It is a requirement for staff to follow the Club’s Safeguarding reporting procedures to report without delay, allegations of abuse, poor practice or which is or may, impact on the welfare of a child, young person, or adult at risk. After contacting and taking guidance from the Safeguarding Team, staff must use the Club’s Child Protection Online Management System (CPOMS ) to record the concern within 24 hours unless directed to do otherwise.

3. Ensure implementation of the club’s health & safety, safeguarding, welfare and equality policies to create a safe working environment for all;

Compliance Responsibilities:

1. To engage in the necessary CPD and professional qualifications to further your expertise (ensuring all Premier League and FA stipulations are adhered to).

2. Always perform duties with due regard to club policies and procedures and legislative requirements;

3. Ensure working practices are compliant with relevant legislation and data protection legislation and/or general data protection regulations (GDPR) requirements;

4. Ensure, where relevant, that all performance data is captured in a timely manner onto the Performance Management Application (PMA).
