Senior Video Producer

Job Summary:

The Senior Video Producer for the Washington Commanders is responsible for capturing and editing content covering both football and business operations initiatives. Candidates will create content that supports team channels such as commander.com and Commanders social media channels. They will capture football content ranging from gameplay, interviews, and press conferences that help to amplify the message of the Commanders football team and their accomplishments. Operating professional video equipment, this individual will capture, ingest, and edit content in a manner that is aligned with Commanders brand guidelines.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Capture content on gamedays at home games and potential to travel to away games. Content ranging from gameplay, fan content, sponsorship activations, and videoboard content.

· Capture and edit content to be featured on Commanders.com and Commanders social media channels, including but not limited to, interviews, sponsored videos, community events, press conferences, and social media videos.

· Ingest and archive footage from gamedays and events.

· Conduct interviews with players, alumni, and team members to help tell stories of the Commanders brand.

· Participate in meetings and brainstorm sessions to help shape creative concepts that will evolve the Commanders content.

· Set up and operate cameras and audio equipment in studio to capture TV Shows, podcasts, and other in studio content.

· Travel to events both in the community and to fulfill sponsor oblifations on their own and be able to capture compelling content that tells the story of the event

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred but not required

· Knowledge of professional grade camera equipment

· Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Premiere and After Effects required

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Working Conditions:

· Operating Arri Amira and Sony camera bodies

· Ability to shoot both indoors and outdoors in all conditions
