Event Security and Logistics Team Member - Seasonal/Part-time

The Washington Commanders is seeking a part-time, seasonal Event Security and Logistics Team Member at the stadium/event center. This individual will provide professional service towards employees and guests of the Washington Commanders. Staff will perform security equipment setup/breakdown and assist with inventory.


  • Responsible for the set up and breakdown of all security equipment
  • Assist with pre-game field setup and breakdown
  • Organize security equipment and inventory as needed
  • Conduct thorough walk through to ensure equipment is set correctly and working as needed
  • Organize parking passes and credentials prior to a game as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Setup security signage
  • Pick up surrendered items from event security at fan entry gates


  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required
  • Valid state driver's license required
  • Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Willingness to learn is required
  • Possess a professional attitude that is customer service oriented
  • Effective writing, telephone, and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance during work hours
  • Good judgment and detail-oriented
  • Able to work in heat/cold and to be on feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position is designated as an "essential employee" and may be required to stay beyond regular work hours and/or report in from off-duty to assist with minimum staffing coverage


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • Previous experience with a sports team
