The Tennessee Titans are committed to the continued growth and development of the game of football at all levels. The Titans Cause Marketing department is looking for a dynamic, football development manager who will oversee the implementation of all football development programming that strategically aligns with the Club’s mission and priorities. This individual will ultimately be responsible for producing a top-tier NFL program that provides one-of-a-kind engagement opportunities and support for football programs throughout our region.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive participation for all high school football programming through strategic marketing and activation campaigns including: Diversity Coaches Summit, High School Recruiting Fairs, Fireball Fridays Game of the Week, Coach of the Week, Coach of the Year, Titans Mr. Football, Nike Youth Captains, and more.
  • Manage the successful execution of Titans youth football camp series. Oversee all operational aspects of camps including: securing host venues, marketing, promotion, registration, staffing, event day activation, communication, giveaways.
  • Accelerate and champion the strategic growth and development of girls flag football and Titans branded NFL Flag leagues across the state. Create new and innovative programming opportunities.
  • Lead education-based initiatives by developing new programming to increase youth engagement opportunities while promoting the Titans brand.
  • Lead research and data analysis around growth of football development programming and industry trends. Utilize data to identify engagement opportunities with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Broadcasting and Creative teams to create innovative content highlighting the impact of the department.
  • Manage all aspects and activities associated with NFL cause initiatives such as PLAY 60, PLAY Football, My Cause My Cleats.
  • Compose year end football development program report to include metrics, summary of program goals and partner deliverables. This includes the annual NFL Club Metrics Report
  • Oversee the process for internal and external player appearance requests for current players; Organize and facilitate player autograph signings throughout the year; Provide support for player led events when needed.
  • Lead gameday activations for Cause Marketing initiatives and Gameday Charity Drives.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the organization by cultivating relationships with community partners, coaches, athletic directors, league presidents, and other key stakeholders (e.g., NFL League Office, RCX Sports, Nike, USA Football, TnFCA, TSSAA, Special Olympics Tennessee, NCAA Eligibility Center, NFHS).
  • Collaborate with NFL partners to the lead the planning and execution of the annual Titans NFL Flag Regional Tournament.
  • Provide support for other Marketing department initiatives and events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years’ experience in Marketing or Community Engagement field. Experience in event planning and management, specifically related to youth and/or high school sports preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with key community stakeholders and leverage partnerships to amplify the reach of organizational initiatives and programs
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to help achieve organizational goals
  • Self-starter with strong multitasking and decision-making skills
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
