Responsibilities:
- Design, repair, maintain, and optimize all audio systems at Nissan Stadium, Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park, and Titans House. Including but not limited to: Stadium PA, DSP, intercom, AV inventory, studio and installed systems.
- Ability to mix on a range of shows from Titans games, private special events, live TV shows, and “super-major” level stadium events. Includes off-site events.
- Manage and deploy analog and AVoIP signal flow, distribution and transmission. (Dante, MADI, AVB, SMPTE ST 2110, etc.)
- Programming and design of current/future DSP, installed speakers, rentable inventory, intercom including layout and infrastructure.
- Review and provide detailed feedback for all sporting and touring events including acoustic analysis, rigging/angle points, delay, frequency coordination and integration into our venues.
- Recruit, mentor, train, and lead a team of world class audio engineers and system experts.
- Assist in the design of New Nissan Stadium. Including RFP, selection, testing, and implementation.
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Production, Broadcast, & Technology.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. Degree in Audio, Production or related field preferred
- 7-10 years’ experience audio engineer/system design for big rooms, 5000+ persons, i.e. stadium, touring venues, house of worship, etc.
- 7-10 years’ experience directly leading a team of audio engineers and technicians
- Organized and process driven for gear maintenance and depreciation and event procedures/standards
- Advanced Microsoft Office user
- Advanced user on REVU, AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks
- Advanced knowledge of DSP, intercom, infrastructure, wireless frequencies and spectrum management
- Expert knowledge and user on Digico, Yamaha consoles and systems
- Capable of balancing multiple projects and events at the same time while still delivering on-time and on-budget
- Ability to convey highly technical information to non-technical staff including senior leadership
- Sports experience a plus but not required
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
