This position is responsible for driving Group Ticket and Season Ticket revenue growth for the Austin Spurs with a strong emphasis on relationship-driven sales and customer retention. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service and fostering enduring relationships with clients, colleagues, and corporate sponsors. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, offering a rewarding structure aligned with performance. What You’ll Do:

  • Business Development & Relationship Management
    • Generate, develop, and sustain new and ongoing business and sales relationships.
    • Proactively seek out and engage potential clients through various prospecting techniques.
  • Sales & Networking Efforts
    • Execute outbound sales strategies, leveraging the best practices in sales and service.
    • Employ methods such as prospecting, networking, lead generation, and effective data management to capture leads and build a personal client database.
  • Sales Strategy & Goal Attainment
    • Establish and pursue individual strategies, procedures, and measurable goals to increase sales for SS&E properties.
    • Participate in ongoing sales training to enhance skills and adopt best practices in sales.
  • Client Engagement & Game-Day Support
    • Greet, support, and provide outstanding service to both current and potential clients during regular business interactions and at games.
  • Collaboration & Assistance
    • Assist the Sale and Service Team in all aspects of promoting and managing SS&E franchise properties.
    • Take on other department responsibilities as assigned to support overall team success.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 1-2+ years of sales experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, supporting various high-level positions effectively.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
  • Proven teamwork aptitude with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Constantly walking to accomplish tasks.
  • Constant finger dexterity is required to use a computer keyboard to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to work outdoors during weather conditions.
