Information Technology (IT) Operations Analyst

The Information Technology Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operation of the IT Department’s Help Desk function and management of end user devices. The ideal candidate will exhibit patience, have strong critical thinking skills, be a self-starter, and demonstrate strong proficiency in communication. This position will plan and deliver customer support services including installation, troubleshooting, and user assistance in areas of mobile devices, IPTV equipment, computer endpoints, anti-virus, and more. This position is responsible for providing support on event days as scheduled. This position will provide support in-person at Providence Park and the Timbers Training Facility. The IT Operations Analyst will report directly to the VP of Information Technology.

Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities (in order of importance):

  • Help desk support
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems for all networked devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, VOIP phones, cell phones, etc.)
  • Assist with technology needs and issues during matchday/events
  • Employee onboarding and set-up
  • Set up client workstations, applications for staff
  • Troubleshoot problems with peripheral and end-point devices
  • Complete projects supporting the execution plan of the IT Department
  • Implement facility and club rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties including inventory, documentation, research and help with development of new IT initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability for area of responsibility and related results

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject preferred or Bachelor’s degree with Comp TIA or Microsoft IT Certifications (current study). Work experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in IT or technical field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Office applications and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure cloud services
  • Knowledge of MacOS
  • Familiarity with managing iOS and Android Devices
