Are you looking to jump-start your career in the Sports and Entertainment industry? Acrisure Stadium is looking for eager young professionals interested in gaining hands-on experience working large-scale sporting events. Candidates will be part of a team dedicated to learning techniques for de-escalation, incident response, and customer service interactions while working alongside a diverse team of venue staff.

This is a part time, event day position for the 2024-2025 season to include Steelers games, Panthers games, major stadium events, and potential for additional office days as needed.

This position will expose candidates to all game day roles including Ticket Taker, Usher, Club Attendant, Suite Attendant, Guest Services Attendant, Elevator Operator, Entertainment Liaison, Access Control Monitor, Wristband Distribution Assistant, and more. Through learning these positions and working alongside front office staff members, candidates will also receive early access and consideration for upcoming employment opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Acrisure Stadium Operations team with various operational tasks for all 2024-2025 Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh home games.
  • Assist in game day setup including staff check-in, material prep, building checks, and pregame hospitality assistance.
  • Learn first-hand how to handle customer service inquiries professionally and accurately to create an exceptional fan experience.
  • Shadow and assist various stadium operations departments (Club Events, Suites, Guest Experience, Event Operations, Ticketing, Entertainment Operations, Facilities Management).
  • Participate in pre-event meetings outlining objectives, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Enforce all Acrisure Stadium safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Assist with execution of marketing and promotional game day elements.
  • Provide and discuss post-event feedback regarding opportunities to improve the game day operation.
  • Opportunity to work additional events including Steelers Fashion Show, Hall of Honor Weekend, Alumni Weekend, game day staff training sessions, WPIAL football, and more.

  • Able to stand and work outside for long periods of time and walk long distances
