Digital Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Business Analytics, the Digital Analyst will be responsible for reporting and analysis related to all digital and social channels. The analyst will work closely with the content, sponsorship, marketing and e-commerce teams. Applicant will be responsible for channel optimization in terms of fan engagement, revenue generation and key business line goals.
**This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Produce regular reporting on KPIs associated with all digital and social platforms
  • Deliver a year-end report that summarizes results for multiple business lines
  • Partner with digital and social teams to have an on-going understanding of successes, challenges and platform changes
  • Provide recommendations that result in higher fan engagement, greater sponsorship opportunities, e-commerce revenue and improved marketing results
  • Report on consumption of international content on digital and social platforms
  • Analyze and report on KPIs associated with all satellite social accounts including Steelers Pro Shop, Steelers Nation Unite and Youth Football among others
  • Understand who is consuming content on each platform
  • Analyze social media monetization on a regular basis and partner with social media team on how to maximize revenue
  • Collaborate on a paid social media strategy that is cost effective and maximizes outcomes for internal and external partners
  • Become a power user and subject matter expert in digital and social analytical tools
  • Stay connected with the NFL to benchmark progress and ensure league offerings and best practices are being utilized


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience working with data using SQL or similar technology
  • 2+ years’ experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar technology
  • Working knowledge of digital and social platforms as well as SEO, digital advertising and paid media
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to many different organizational departments
  • Ability to manage external vendors
  • Independent worker with close attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States
