Job Summary

The Pittsburgh Pirates Florida Operations Field Operations department is hiring an intern for the 2024 season at Lecom Park located in Bradenton, FL, home of the single A affiliate Bradenton Marauders. The incumbent in this role will receive hands-on experience in field operations as we host Florida State League games, high school baseball games, high school graduations, and other events.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with game day preparation of Lecom Park, including field preparation, batting practice, and pre-game set-up.
2. Assist with non-game day field preparation, including fertilization, aerification, and sodding.
3. Receive hands-on experience with spraying, irrigation maintenance, and general field upkeep/construction.
4. Set up additional events such as concerts and corporate events.
5. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
