Job Summary

The Front Desk Attendant provides efficient and friendly service and support to visitors, residents and clients at Pirate City.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests at the front desk, answer questions and resolve issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Ensure adherence to all visitor regulations in order to maintain a safe environment.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, respond to inquiries and transfer calls to appropriate individuals as necessary.
  • Monitor personnel entry/exit and log vendors and visitors.
  • Maintain a daily activity report on all activities and observations completed during shift and follow-up with Supervisor on previous day's activities.
  • Electronically check in/check out residents and produce key cards, etc.
  • Process purchases and activity in the Pirate City Store.
  • Prevent unauthorized persons from loitering in area of assignment.
  • Assist the staff with sending faxes and making copies.
  • Sort incoming mail and send notifications to personnel while keeping the mailroom organized.
  • Create facility work orders for guest maintenance and housekeeping requests using an online work order system.
  • Manage and log items left behind in a lost and found computer program.
  • Manage recreational rental equipment for guests staying at the Pirate City dorms.
  • Keep the front desk area tidy and stocked with promotional and marketed materials.
  • Monitor cameras and intercom system for security purposes.
  • All other projects as assigned by Coordinator, Florida Operations.
