About the role

We’re looking for a Goalkeeping Coach to work with our Women’s First Team Manager to provide elite, structured training and development for goalkeepers contracted to the first team and development/ U21 team.

You will effectively coach, mentor and develop the performance of goalkeepers in line with the club’s playing philosophy, ensuring the clubs principles and style of play are adhered too. You will prepare and deliver well structured, safe, and accurate sessions to ensure players are supported to enable the advancement of skill and performance on an NUW elite player pathway.

Your impact

You will be an experienced goalkeeping coach with a proven track record of working with elite female goalkeepers and coaches to their full potential within the FA Women’s Championship or the WSL.

You will have an Advanced coaching licence (UEFA A) and UEFA B License Goalkeeping Coach award along with your FA safeguarding. You will also have professional membership of the FA Licences Coaches Club.

You will have a thorough understanding and knowledge of defending set pieces, with the ability to contribute and add expertise to this area.

You will be resilient and a self-starter, with the proven ability to work in a dynamic and challenging football environment.

About the team

You will work for the Women’s First Team Manager and Assistant Manager. You will work alongside our First Team Coach. You will have day to day interaction with our medical, performance and safeguarding teams.
