Today, IMSA is the sanctioning body of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the premier sports car racing series in North America. NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of IMSA Manager, Brand and Consumer Marketing based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.

This person is responsible for developing and manage advertising assets across our channels for distribution.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain programming schedules and traffic TV ads and features with NASCAR Productions
  • Be a project manager for ad and marketing campaign assets and execution.
  • Traffic ads to print publications and online publishers on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Police brand identity for IMSA and our partners in consumer facing campaigns.
  • Assist with uniform ordering and collateral materials such as fan guides and signage.
  • You will work with graphic designers, video producers and digital marketers.
  • Ownership of advertising creative development process, including TV, print and digital advertising. To include management of media partner advertising contracts.
  • Management and oversight of trafficking advertising creative to respective media outlets.
  • Prioritizing creative services & video requests from internal departments.
  • Monitor (for accuracy), report and analyze digital, TV, YouTube and print advertising.
  • Help develop original advertising and content marketing campaigns.
  • Management of project management software (Workzone or other).
  • Manage and distribute/communicate branding elements (i.e. logos, brand usage, physical assets like decals, videos, etc.)
  • With the brand and leadership team, help to implement IMSA brand identity across channels.
  • Oversight of brand adherence of digital assets (graphics, banner ads, stakeholder emails, videos, logos).
  • Review, reconcile, approve and direct department purchases and approve expenses.
  • Ensure following of brand guidelines of our partners and IMSA.
  • Work with corporate partnership team to help develop marketing platforms (contests, promotions, etc) that our partners can activate against.
  • Provide assets to stakeholders (OEM Council Meetings, Marketing Work Group, Promoter Meetings, etc.)
  • Upon request, assist and collaborate with educational / business development materials (series guides, fan guides, signage or other print collateral).
  • Work with Partnership Marketing and NASCAR Events banquet pre-planning and execution.
  • Work with TV partners to maintain up-to-date programming schedules and review broadcast content to ensure IMSA product is portrayed appropriately.
  • Review and ensure execution of International TV broadcast contracts are secured through Greenlight, navigate international finance regulations to receive licensing fees.

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from four (4) year college or university; and 4+ years related experience and/or training in marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in learning new platforms and processes
  • Ability to use project management software (Workzone or similar).
  • Microsoft office suite.
  • Adobe creative suite familiarity.
  • Ability to communicate and monitor projects both in office and remotely via phone.
  • Positive attitude and drive for constant improvement.
  • Highly organized with clear communications skills.
  • Ability to see and suggest opportunities to improve processes.
  • A love for sports cars and motor sports racing.
  • A curiosity to learn and grow.
  • Creativity and contributor mindset in developing solutions.
  • Enthusiasm to work on a highly collaborative growing team.
  • Approximately 35% travel including some weekends.
