Overview
The Intern - Marketing will support the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club Marketing team and assist in the development and execution of various marketing initiatives. Additional responsibilities will include supporting overall project management, video production and social media among other areas.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with basic project management tasks for the development and execution of overall marketing initiatives and creative assets, to include but not limited to entry of tasks and projects into project management software.
- Help maintain department editorial calendars, coordinating with internal teams to ensure all organizational goals and programs are executed and delivered appropriately.
- Proactively research and evaluate opportunities via social media for additional exposure.
- Perform administrative tasks for the department including, but not limited to data entry, filing, returning phone calls, and tracking prize inventory and supplies/equipment.
- Proofread creative and copy reviewing for spelling and grammar, as well as ensuring deliverables are accurate, and factual.
- Support game day responsibilities which may include, but are not limited to support with Kids Crew Early Entry, Community Night activation, and Theme Night Giveaway redemption.
- Assists social team with analytics, reporting, and management of social listening tools
- Shadow video shoots and support with entry of tasks into project management system.
The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled or recent graduate from an accredited college or university pursuing a Sports Marketing/Administration, Marketing, or Marketing Research degree. Candidates with the ability to communicate effectively in addition to possessing strong analytical and organizational skills are preferred.
