Reporting to the Access Control and Accreditation Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of access control operations for all ticketed operations across the CFA and Etihad Campus.

The role will work as part of an operational team and will ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.

Your Impact

1. To assist in the successful delivery of all access control operations at events across the Etihad Campus

2. To be a key contact and active problem solver on matchday and event days in relation to access control. Work through ticketing/access issues to identify solutions in a timely manner.

3. Lead on all pre-event checks and balances and hardware checks, ensuring we are well prepared and managing any event risks pre-event.

4. Support in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and training materials for Safety, Security and Access IT systems.

5. Maintain the stadium seating manifest and crowd related stadium documentation, work on their development and evolution across all event types, assist with planning and compliance across the Etihad Campus

6. To work closely with events promoters and external companies to create, develop and maintain:

- ticketing risk mitigation plans

- seating plans (ticketing)

- stadium models in line with our internal safety and security standards

7. Build and maintain internal and external relationships with Ticketing, Fan Support and external companies and SAG to ensure we are working within ingress/egress models for the safe delivery of events

8. Be a proficient administrator of all Safety & Security IT Systems including Fortress, Aware, Accredit. Responsibility for supporting with the inputting and maintenance of all systems. To analyse data obtained through systems, report and present on meaningful patterns of data and KPI’s that inform decision making in the delivery of a safe event.

9. To identify and manage match day resources within the casual PDA match day team to ensure you are providing an optimum service, and ensuring relevant training, support and development is in place.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Ability to learn each access system to understand the key functionality and how they operationally interact together.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external companies/stakeholders to ensure we do not compromise on internal safety standards.
  • Maintain supporting documentation that operationally supports the delivery of access control and risk mitigation
  • Organised with a strong ‘can do’ approach with high levels of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Managing time to proactively work on how to develop best practice.
  • A hands-on approach, with the ability to consistently manage a wide range of issues, at pace and high volume and to problem solve and react quickly to situations to identify safe solutions. - Flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work some unsociable hours (including weekends)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of each system e.g. Fortress/Handheld PDA device from an operational user level.
  • Previous experience in working within a Sports Safety and Security environment.
