The successful candidate will provide technical advisory, analytical and operational delivery support in equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) to functional teams across the CFG and to EDI staff and fan groups and networks. This includes to develop and roll out EDI products and to carry out analysis and trends reporting.

As an EDI technical specialist, you will continuously develop professional expertise in EDI and role model behaviours for an inclusive culture.

Your Impact

1. Provide EDI technical advice and support to operational teams to enable them to implement EDI policies, tools, products and design and to develop team specific EDI activities.

2. Provide EDI technical advice and co-ordinate the create and roll out of EDI policies, tools and products including monitoring, analysing and reporting on the impact and contributing to communications and action planning.

3. Co-ordinate EDI annual delivery plans, establishing relationships with wide- ranging internal and external stakeholders across business to help to ensure that effective project management is in place, risks are identified and that internal stakeholders are contributing to the delivery of plans and the EDI strategy & EDI external governance requirements.

4. Contribute to the design, co-ordination and delivery of plans to enable CFG to make tangible and evidenced differences to improve representation, organisational culture and experience in CFG’s priority equality areas; gender, disability, ethnicity & LGBTQ+.

5. Co-ordinate and carry out data collection, research & analysis in EDI to present trends and insight from the external EDI landscape. Co-ordinate discrete research and insight projects, deep dives & benchmarking around EDI themes. Analyse data to produce impact reports and presentations.

6. Role model behaviours for an inclusive culture and raise awareness and understanding of EDI across teams and the wider business.

7. Co-ordinate relationships with external and internal EDI stakeholders, including EDI governance groups, EDI staff networks and EDI related fan groups. Be first point of contact for enquiries and tracking & reporting on EDI relationship management across business.

8. Co-ordinate and contribute to EDI communication and engagement and learning and development, including relevant EDI internal and external communications and engagement campaigns and activations and learning and development content. Support EDI team and internal communications to ensure EDI intranet, sharepoint and folders are up to date. Manage EDI email inquiries.

9. Design and project manage discrete special EDI projects to pilot and roll out EDI initiatives and innovations in the business. Manage internal and external stakeholders and represent EDI in relevant internal and external forums.

10. Undertake on-going continuous professional development in EDI to develop EDI technical specialism in wider areas. Represent EDI team in internal and external forums. Share trends with staff across the business and widen opportunities for people to network externally, particularly staff from under-represented groups.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Understanding of the equality, diversity and inclusion landscape in sports entertainment and wider industries
  • Technical understanding, skills and experience in one or more equality priority area (gender, disability, ethnicity, LGBTQ+, MH & W, social mobility)
  • Understanding of project management principles, skills and experience in project co-ordination, costing and tracking financial spend, and coordinating risk registers
  • Skills and experience in data collection, research and analysis to inform decisions and plans
  • Skills and experience in communicating information in accessible and engaging ways
  • Experience in co-ordinating campaigns or learning & development in EDI
  • Skills and experience in co-ordinating and delivering outputs in a dynamic result-oriented environment
  • Openness to learning and engaging in new areas and ways of working
  • Experience in contributing to an inclusive culture, through behaviours and actions
