To lead the process of monitoring the global football coaching market and tracking the performance of coaches across CFG. Establish and maintain a database of current and future coaching talent for all CFG Clubs.
Working closely with the Head of Coaching Methodology to provide innovative actionable insights to inform coach recruitment, retention and release decisions.

Your Impact
- Manage the CFG Coach Surveillance Database
- Surveil key football coaches within the CFG coach framework for internal CFG coaches & external football coaches
- In collaboration with Football Insights, build and monitor key data metrics to assess the progression of football coaches within the CFG Coach Surveillance database
- Manage depth & longevity charts for CFG clubs and current coaches
- Provide detailed insights and findings to the Head of Coaching Methodology & CFG Leadership Team in relation to coach recruitment
- Research into the trends within all areas of football coaching
- Build & develop relationships with national football governing bodies
What we are looking for
Essential
- Extensive experience within professional football in the area of Coaching, Analysis or Recruitment
- Knowledge in coach development & coach assessment
- Demonstratable ability to communicate with football coaches from a variety of environments & cultures
- Ability to manage & manipulate large datasets & interpret data & visualisations
- Fluency in Sportscode coding, databasing & video annotation
- Ability to create informative, understandable reports to support the coach recruitment process
- Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders within CFG and build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively & cooperatively on both long term & time pressured projects
- Flexibility to travel globally with short notice
- Fluent IT skills – including Microsoft & Apple software (namely the use of office & keynote software)
- Knowledge of tableau (or equivalent data visualisation software)
Desirable
- UEFA (or equivalent) football coaching qualifications
- Knowledge of different levels of global football
- Language skills
- Relevant academic experience in a sport related field
