Your Impact

  1. To ensure the quality of the program is of the highest standard possible, adhering to the coaching philosophy, methodology and principles of Manchester City.
  2. Take on key responsibilities from the program requirements of the Manchester City Football School.
  3. To ensure the key responsibilities given by the Head Coach are completed within time to the highest standards of Manchester City Football School.
  4. To support and coordinate a local coach development program for support coaches.
  5. To continually review the program delivery across the key areas, then recommend areas of development.
  6. To efficiently manage and engage with key stakeholders within the project to ensure the quality of the program.
  7. Ensure the planning, preparation and reviewing documents are completed on time and to a high standard.
  8. To always maintain professional conduct in both on and off field environments.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • UEFA B License OR WORKING TOWARDS
  • FA Youth coaching award or education in football development
  • Higher Education and/ or management equivalent Qualification.
  • To have the ability to train and develop individual coaches and staff
  • To demonstrate leadership and management skills to ensure the development and management of a project
  • The ability to communicate and develop relationships with coaches, players, parents, and key business stakeholders.
  • To be proficient in preparing and recording of documents to support the coaching, reviewing the project, and presenting to others internally and externally.
  • To have the ability to solve problems daily and to then recommend options to ensure the success of the program
  • The ability to develop and support a positive working environment that represents Manchester City and the local partner in the marketplace.
  • To have some experience in supporting and developing coaches of different levels
  • To have experience in developing players of varying ages, genders and abilities
  • To have experience implementing and developing a football coaching syllabus for all ages including developing teams
  • To understand player pathways and the development process of individual players
  • To have the ability to plan, organise, and develop different types of football programs
