Manager, Spanish Digital Content

The Manager will collaborate closely with the Director of Digital Content to assist in managing and creating Spanish digital content across our MLS digital platforms, including MLS Español. This position will be responsible for producing and editing content, optimizing videos for specific platforms, and uploading content. The manager will provide support with Spanish content during the week and on matchdays.


  • Support the execution of our content strategy across our matches and match-days; collaborating with content leadership to identify and create responsive content featuring our priority matches as determined by league leadership, MLS star players and highlights.
  • Responsible for the creation, production and distribution of various digital video series and standalone responsive video content.
  • Support studio and talent content.
  • Exercise strong editorial judgement during the production process, including potential sensitive material.
  • Collaborate with Spanish editorial and social team partners to craft and enhance content tailored for optimal distribution across our owned and operated channels.
  • Operates with a deep understanding of data, trend indicators, business drivers paired with
    strong instincts and an appetite for experimentation to drive business results.
  • Leverage media availability and exclusive content capture opportunities with MLS players, coaches and personalities, including in-person carwashes (or across other remote locations).
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in creating compelling and engaging digital video content in Spanish and English

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of the sport of soccer, MLS and International soccer.
  • Proven track record of ability to generate new ideas and translate them into high-quality, engaging content.
  • High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Advanced familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)
  • Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Total Rewards

Starting Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
