Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00/hour*

Reports to: Director, Los Angeles Dodgers Productions

*Compensation rates vary based on job-related factors, including experience, job skills, education, and training.

This person will be responsible for producing and filming video content for the Los Angeles Dodgers. This a seasonal job that begins during Spring Training and will conclude at the end of the season (March-November 2024).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Strong and demonstrable production skills, including camera operation, lighting, and sound.
  • Strong experience with working with Sony FX6, FS7 and A7Siii cameras.
  • Expertise working with cinema lenses, and professional camera rigs/equipment.
  • Familiarity with DJI Ronin (S and M), and the latest GOPro cameras.
  • Understanding how to work with lights/stands to compose shots on location.
  • Ability to field produce, and interview professional athletes and talent is required.
  • Previous experience working on documentaries, or behind-the-scenes coverage of a sports team is preferred.
  • Strong post-production skills using the latest version of the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Audition).
  • Familiar with multiple formats of compression and export resolutions for web, TV, LED’s, and video on demand.
  • Open to a frequent travel schedule and able to work long nights and weekends.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and work well under deadlines
  • Experience with directing talent is preferred
  • Experience with versioning a plus
  • Able to work long nights and weekends
  • Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics are required
  • Able to work well as part of a collaborative team
  • Demo reel and work samples required
  • Five (5) plus years working in video production with a preference towards candidates with sports production experience
