The Raiders Foundation Intern will play a vital role in assisting the Foundation department of The Las Vegas Raiders in fostering positive relationships with local non-profit organizations, executing fundraising initiatives, and supporting various charitable endeavors.
This part-time, seasonal internship is an on-site role based in Henderson/Las Vegas, Nevada, running from June 2nd, 2025, to August 8th, 2025. Candidates must be available to work for the entire duration of the program. Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation for the length of the internship.
Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with the Foundation team to identify and engage with local non-profit organizations to support the Foundation’s strategic philanthropic efforts within the community.
- Assist with post-event communication and follow-up related to the Silver & Black Gala.
- Evaluate current fundraising programs and assist with improvements.
- Collect and review grant reports to measure the impact of grant initiatives.
- Assemble and input historical data into CRM software.
- Provide general administrative support to the Foundation department, including scheduling meetings, assisting with storage inventory, and preparing materials for reports and presentations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including other departments, as needed.
- Conduct research on best practices in grantmaking and fundraising within the sports industry and contribute ideas for innovative strategies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree.
- Preferred academic areas of focus include: Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Sociology, or Business.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A passion for community impact, with a demonstrated commitment to volunteerism or previous experience in the non-profit field preferred.
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for football and the NFL, with a willingness to learn about the team's history, players, and charitable initiatives.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for events and activities.
- Must be able to provide own transportation to local events and venues.
- Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
- Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
