The Football Development Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the efforts of the Football Development team at the Las Vegas Raiders. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our football development team to facilitate outreach efforts, assist with youth football programs, and contribute to the overall mission of our organization to make a positive impact in our community. The successful candidate will contribute to initiatives that enhance the team's presence and impact in the local community.

This part-time, seasonal internship is an on-site role based in Henderson/Las Vegas, Nevada, running from June 2nd, 2025, to August 8th, 2025. Candidates must be available to work for the entire duration of the program. Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation for the length of the internship.

Essential Job Functions

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of Football Development programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local organizations to identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
  • Attend and support government and community relations events.
  • Support the implementation of youth football programs, including camps, clinics, and leagues, aimed at promoting youth participation in the sport.
  • Assist in coordinating program logistics, such as scheduling, facility arrangements, and equipment distribution.
  • Provide administrative support to the Football Development team, including data entry, file management, and correspondence with community partners.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials related to community engagement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the community relations department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, full-time.
  • Undergraduates in their junior or senior year or graduates students pursuing their Masters degree.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Sports industry experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
