About the Jacksonville Jaguars and Bold Events

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, and played its first regular season home game on September 3, 1995. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate, Fulham Football Club and All Elite Wrestling. The Jaguars play at EverBank Stadium in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Under Mr. Khan’s leadership, EverBank Stadium has evolved to include some of the most unique stadium assets, including swim spas and 19 video boards, two of which are longer than a football field.

Most recently, the addition of Daily’s Place has provided downtown Jacksonville with a new entertainment destination, as well as an indoor practice facility for the Jaguars. Sister company, Bold Events, LLC, operates business at Daily’s Place and EverBank Stadium. Bold Events is responsible for attracting and planning major and minor events and programming. In its opening year, Daily’s Place hosted 31 concerts!

About Daily’s Place

Since its grand opening in May 2017, Daily’s Place has become a leading destination for live entertainment and events in Northeast Florida. Adjacent to EverBank Stadium, home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, the state-of-the-art venue encompasses a 5,500-seat covered amphitheater and flex field, which serves as public event space. Built through a partnership between the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville, Daily’s Place hosts concerts including performances by Kenny Chesney, Bob Seger, Sting, Lionel Richie, Mary J. Blige, Post Malone, Zac Brown Band, Jonas Brothers and Dave Matthews Band, among other international recording artists, as well as events; NFL and college pregame festivities; Draft parties; and more.

Summary

An assistantship at the Jaguars and Bold Events will provide you the chance to explore your career interests, acquire marketable job skills while “learning the ropes” of the industry, establish professional contacts, and gain practical “hands on” experience while working at the highest level of professional entertainment and sports.

Jaguars and Bold Events assistantships offer meaningful educational work experiences designed to meet your academic and career goals. Management and staff will teach and encourage, but it’s up to you to bring an enthusiasm to learn. Through this program, you will identify learning goals and work with the Jaguars management to achieve those goals.

The Seasonal Marketing Assistant, Live Events combines operational, social media, digital, and creative skills to directly support multi-pronged marketing efforts for all concerts, shows, and experiences booked, managed, produced and executed for Daily’s Place Amphitheater and EverBank Stadium on behalf of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Bold Events. The seasonal assistant will directly support and learn from the Live Events Marketing Team. The ideal candidate can move comfortably between creative thinking and tactical execution.

What You Will Learn from Your Job Responsibilities

Moderation and organization of community calendars, creative assets, and departmental files.
Supporting the creation and execution of social media copy/content and graphics, including show promotion as well as original initiatives and programming for partnerships
Participation in developing social strategy to increase brand awareness, create revenue-generating content and follower growth
How to provide data and analysis on social media and website performance
Website optimization
On-site event/concert social support
On-site game day or special event social support
Other duties and learning opportunities as assigned

Job Qualifications

Required

Proficient social media experience with grasp of different platforms, content capture and emerging trends/technology
Graphic design experience with strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs
Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned tasks on time and with superior attention to detail
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Creative and strategic thinker
Willingness to learn and grow, with well-developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mentality
Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities

Preferred

Experience in concerts, events or game day settings
In pursuit of or possessing college degree in marketing, business, entertainment, or related field
