JOB SUMMARY:

As part of the Packers’ office in Green Bay, WI, responsible for activating marketing partnerships by planning strategic business plans that deliver a measurable return on partner objectives (i.e. promotions, special events, advertising, social media, direct selling, direct mail, hospitality, business to business, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with partners—both independently and alongside Sales Executives - including senior leaders from major corporations, civic figures, business owners, marketing teams, and agencies.
  • Take the lead on the Return on Objectives program for assigned partners, identifying key performance indicators and establishing measurable goals to evaluate partnership effectiveness.
  • Manage the performance, activation, and fulfillment of 20-30 sponsorship partnerships annually.
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to ensure the successful renewal of existing partnerships.
  • Generate ideas for upselling existing partnerships by leveraging insights into partner goals and objectives.
  • Support Sales Executives in developing new business concepts and proposals.
  • Track and manage the fulfillment of all contractual obligations for assigned accounts.
  • Utilize and maintain KORE software, the sponsorship inventory tracking system.
  • Develop strategic game plans, real-time recaps, monthly reports, proof of performance presentations, and activation plans for all clients while initiating the renewal of sales cycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, managing daily client interactions and requests.
  • Organize and execute sponsor events, including significant community events such as the 5K run/walk, Training Camp, Family Night, Festival of Lights, and Kickoff Weekend.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the completion of promised deliverables.
  • Assist in coordinating sponsorship elements related to the development of Lambeau Field, including concessions and gates.
  • Prepare, route, and finalize partner contracts.
  • Serve as the main liaison for accounts receivable and the finance team regarding assigned marketing accounts, overseeing sponsorship expenses.
  • Ensure appropriate use of the Packers brand during activations.
  • Plan, activate, and occasionally oversee game day activities, including on-field contests, video board promotions, exhibits, giveaways, and hospitality.
  • Mentor interns within the department.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and team-focused approach in all tasks.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external partners & customers at all levels of the respective organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing and handling multiple projects alongside daily responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail & logistics
  • Proficient in strategically forecasting planning needs for clients and events.
  • Capable of solving problems with a creative approach.
  • Skilled at managing urgent and last-minute situations effectively.
  • Ability to make decisions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Open to contributing innovative ideas.
  • Team-oriented and willing to assist colleagues when necessary.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings (e.g., game days, away games, sponsor trips, sales trips).
  • Willingness to travel as needed, with the ability to balance work responsibilities while on the road.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and previous experience in sports (2-3 years preferred).
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing and sales.
  • Requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Requires above average computer skills, including word processing, PowerPoint and spreadsheet applications.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
  • Operates in a professional office environment.
  • Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
