JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for painting and repairs at various Green Bay Packers owned properties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all painting and drywall repairs at multiple properties. Must be knowledgeable in using correct applications for all types of surfaces, including (but not limited to) drywall, wood, steel and other metals, concrete, cinder block, plastics, etc., in various interior and exterior environments. Experience using Tnemec products a plus.
• Plan and supervise work of painting assistants. Train and communicate job expectations, review completed projects.
• Identify areas that need painting and/or repair and schedule the work in accordance with events schedule, contract work, and other factors. Schedule and determine frequency of recurring paint projects to ensure all areas throughout the facilities are appropriately maintained.
• Identify issues with concrete coating & steel and report to management and city engineer.
• Assist in the preparation of the Facilities annual budget for paint and painting supplies, including gathering prices from vendors, quotes from contractors, looking for cost-effective solutions, and presenting information at department’s budget meetings.
• Maintain inventory of paint and painting supplies while staying within the departmental budget. Responsible for keeping up-to-date paint color log charts.
• Responsible for owner’s paint specifications and making sure contractors are using the correct specs.
• Oversee contract workers when called upon.
• Assist in hanging, removing, and relocating artwork and other wall-mounted items, minimizing damage and repairing walls as needed.
• Complete various gameday tasks including opening and closing designated areas of the stadium in a timely manner.
• Operate the following types of equipment: fork trucks, aerial lifts, snowplows, Bobcats, Skidsteers, carts.
• Participate in on-call rotation for snow removal team. Lead snow crew during the snow removal process. Contribute to any “all hands-on deck” snow removal events.
• Assist with other projects as directed by supervisors.
• Able to respond to emergency calls after hours, when necessary.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, including every gameday and certain stadium event days. Shift work may be required.
• Assist in monitoring fire protection systems.
• Use and have the willingness to learn various desktop and mobile software applications used by Facilities Department and Packers Organization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma.

• 5-8 years painting experience in a commercial environment.
• Expertise in of all aspects of painting and drywall repair, using different types of applications on various surfaces in interior and exterior environments.
• Proficient in staining, varnishing and finishing.
• Skilled in a broad range of general maintenance tasks.
• Must have working knowledge of power tools and equipment.
• General knowledge of fire protection systems helpful.
• Must have ability to adapt to spur of the moment changes. Position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and to be a team player.
• Exposed to disagreeable environmental conditions including dirt, noise, extreme temperatures, heights, cramped workspaces, confined spaces, and areas or tasks where caution must be exercised to ensure safety.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., stand, walk, bend, utilize ladders, and climb stairs.
• Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
