Senior Manager, Broadcast Planning & Operations, FIFA World Cup 2026

Reporting organisationally to the Director of Broadcast Production, Operations & Services, the Broadcast Operations & Services Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation and delivery of broadcast facilities and services at stadia for the FIFA World Cup 2026 / FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Further, this role will oversee broadcast operations at event time to ensure high-quality delivery of the tournament's television, radio and digital broadcasts.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities of the Broadcast Production, Operations & Services Senior Manager for the FIFA World Cup 2026 include:

  • Maintain oversight of the planning & preparation of broadcast sites, including timeline development, risk management, to ensure a successful delivery of broadcast facilities and services.
  • Manage the compliance of broadcast areas at stadia in accordance with the FIFA requirements, ensuring delivery and readiness timelines are met.
  • Liaising closely with FWC26 functional areas, stadium personnel, and the Host Broadcaster on the development of broadcast facilities throughout the project.
  • Working closely with the Host Broadcaster to ensure technical compliance of broadcast facilities and infrastructure.
  • Support the coordination of broadcast activities during additional events such as potential test events, opening and closing ceremonies, and official announcements.
  • Report on preparation, progress, managing and resolving risks and issues for and escalating any urgent issues in a timely manner.
  • As part of the central broadcast management team, oversee the event time delivery of broadcast operations and services, co-ordinating operations across a number of stadiums and other sites
  • Conduct post-event assessments, evaluating broadcast operations, identifying successes and areas for improvement.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the project

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar level of higher education
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in event management, preparation, and planning, preferably in a broadcast environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with experience of managing complex projects across preparation, planning, and delivery
  • Experience in preparation and planning of major sports events, FIFA World Cup or other FIFA events will be an asset
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
