Reporting organisationally to the Senior Manager Service Delivery, the Venue Technology Asset Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Technology team, and work in close collaboration with the Technology teams based in Canada, Mexico and Zurich and other key individuals. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of our large-scale technology tournament and event operations by meticulously overseeing the full lifecycle of all Technology assets required for the FIFA World Cup and associated events as well as managing stock and warehouse operations for all Technology assets.
THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Venue Technology Asset Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26β’ include:
- Managing the Equipment Distribution Center for Technology assets, ensuring lifecycle of technology assets is correctly tracked, from facilities setup to asset preparation, allocation and disposal.
- Responsible for managing stock and warehouse operations.
- Maintain a precise and updated inventory of all technology assets, including hardware, peripherals, and related equipment.
- Oversee stock levels, warehouse organization, and storage systems for technology assets and related inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate tracking, efficient retrieval, and secure storage of assets.
- Coordinate the distribution of technology assets to various tournament venues, based on Technology requirements
- Work closely with Logistics and Venue Technology to ensure Technology Asset requests are fulfilled on time and schedule
- Maintain meticulous records of asset assignments, transfers, and ownership changes.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to align asset management practices with security standards, mitigating potential risks.
- Generate regular reports on asset status, utilization, stock levels, and supply chain performance for stakeholders and management.
YOUR PROFILE
Education & Qualifications
- University degree or similar higher education in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Experience in ServiceNow in general and ITAM Module
- Proven expertise in technology asset management, IT procurement, stock management, and supply chain coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- High proficiency in project management and scheduling software, with the ability to leverage technology for efficient planning and execution.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or asset management, preferably in the sports or events industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, technology assets, stock management and supply chain dynamics.
Languages
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
