The FIFA Museum celebrates and safeguards football heritage and culture to share the magic of the game with the entire world. With exceptional exhibitions, unique original objects, fascinating stories, multimedia and interactive experiences as well as thought-provoking cultural and educational programs, the home of football history is a lively and passionate platform for fans and visitors to meet, connect and engage with each other.

To enhance our team, we are looking for a highly motivated, committed and proactive Intern Exhibitions & Heritage (50-100%) for 6 month to join us by arrangement.

Your responsibilities:

  • Electronically recording and documenting existing objects in the Museum database and possibly inventorying new objects
  • Data cleaning of the Object Management database according to the previously created structure
  • Enrichment of existing data sets
  • Assisting in collection logistics
  • Taking part in the design and implementation of various Museum projects

Your profile:

  • Student of museology, documentation studies or a similar subject
  • Experience or training in handling rare collections items
  • Experience or training with documents / collections assets archiving systems (digital asset manager software)
  • Previous training on collections management
  • Interest in football and football history
  • Interest in and appreciation for culturally and historically important objects and their management
  • Familiarity with documents / collections assets archiving systems (digital asset manager software
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken), knowledge of any other FIFA language (French and Spanish) would be an asset
  • Good computer skills, meticulous attention to detail

About FIFA Museum

Our exhibitions and events in the FIFA Museum at Zurich's Enge railway station and abroad show how international football has continually developed, generating enthusiasm, inspiring and connecting people around the world.

With numerous attractions, audio-visual content and varied exhibition areas that are also intended to stimulate reflection, the museum shows the global influence of football. A permanent exhibition area of around 3,000 square metres is available on three levels and comprises more than 1,000 exhibits in an interactive, multimedia world of experience. In addition, the museum offers an exciting cultural program and an educational program for families with children and school classes.

Our FIFA Museum team is just as unique as our exhibitions and events program. Around 80 employees are currently working for the museum. They represent different nationalities, various professional backgrounds and numerous languages. They are united by their shared passion, love and enthusiasm for football and culture.
