Sitting within the Infrastructure & Technical Services Department, Technical Services (along with Venue Design, Overlay, Pitch Management, Power & Energy) aims to deliver the most engaging, innovative, and accessible World Cup experience for all athletes, fans, partners, and the community. Reporting organizationally to the Executive Director Stadium & Venue Management, the Head of Technical Services will help serve Technical Services efforts for the FIFA World Cup 2026 that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues. This role will be responsible for directing the technical services department and ensuring that all technological systems and services run smoothly and efficiently for the Toronto and Vancouver venues. Further, this role will oversee managing infrastructure, broadcasting facilities, communication networks, and other operational aspects related to technology and services during the tournament.
