The Dallas Mavericks is looking for qualified applicants to experience a professional work environment by assisting the Operations team with daily activities and events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Seasonal Event/Promotional Assistant will assist on various duties and responsibilities to but not limited to:

Assist in physical set-up and breakdown events

Must assist with all daily activities including giving away promotional items, interacting with children, cleaning, delivering boxes, etc.
Gain a complete understanding of the requirements for each event
Work closely with event executives to execute events to the standards of our clients

Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple projects at once, and take initiative.

Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work closely with other employees, vendors and guests.
Ability to remain calm under pressure without losing a customer-service oriented attitude
Strong desire to provide the highest level of customer service

Communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must pass a drug screening and have a clean background record
All new hires must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by date of hire
Reliable; have a flexible schedule and be available to work at least 20 hours per week, including days, nights, and weekends

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented, and responsible

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have the ability to move, carry, and lift up to 40 lbs.
