ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement marketing initiatives in alignment with the Branding Committee and ticketing stakeholders to drive ticket sales, revenue growth, and fan engagement.
  • Assist the Director in tracking and managing a marketing budget, ensuring proper allocation, expense tracking, and reporting to maximize marketing effectiveness.
  • Assist with managing digital marketing campaigns in partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB), ensuring the optimal use of funds for ticket sales and revenue generation.
  • Assist with developing and managing comprehensive media planning efforts, ensuring an optimal mix of digital, TV, radio, print, and out-of-home (OOH) media to reach target audiences and maximize return on investment effectively.
  • Assist with determining the best media placement strategies and collaborate with the external media agency to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Ticket Technology Department to provide research-based insights to management regarding market trends, audience engagement, and competitive analysis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Analyze marketing performance data and optimize campaign strategies with the Ticket Technology team, making strategic recommendations to maximize ROI.
  • Create compelling and persuasive copy for in-stadium messaging, live broadcast reads, and digital advertising to enhance fan engagement and brand visibility.
  • Work closely with the club’s design team ensuring brand consistency across all campaigns and assets.
  • Along with the Director, maintain vendor relationships overseeing execution to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Make recommendations to the Director regarding campaign effectiveness, budget allocation, and strategic adjustments to enhance marketing outcomes.

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and contribute to long-term marketing strategy development alongside senior leadership.
  • Assist with website updates and asset creation in compliance with MLB branding guidelines.
  • Ensure brand consistency by managing internal and external communications and ensuring all partners use the correct branding and messaging.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SPECIFICATIONS):

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years in advertising, creative development, promotion, copywriting, and campaign management.
  • Proficiency in budget management and marketing analytics.
  • Strong negotiation skills for digital ad placements and partnerships.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leadership roles or project management within a marketing function.
  • Experience with media planning, including TV, radio, OOH, digital, and paid social media.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to ethical business practices.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., primarily in the office, with occasional extended hours or weekend work as required by campaign or event schedules.

PHYSICAL & ADA JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to remain stationary, either sitting or standing, for extended periods during the workday.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, or attend meetings.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Regularly communicate with team members and external partners. Must be able to exchange information accurately and effectively.
  • Ability to view computer screens and read documents for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and move office supplies or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.

SALARY RANGE:

  • $26.44-$30.77 per hour ($55K-$64K annualized). This is a full-time position that is eligible for all company benefits.
  • As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, job-related skills, and any other factors the Colorado Rockies consider relevant to the hiring decision for this position.
