JOB SUMMARY:

The Cleveland Charge are seeking a coachable, dedicated individual with a relentless work ethic and great communication skills.

As a Group Event Specialist with the Cleveland Charge NBA G-League Team, you will be responsible for prospecting new group sales, building relationships with group leaders, executing group outings, selling fan experience packages such as on court halftime performances, National Anthem performances and pregame youth basketball, and selling corporate events. In addition, you will also be expected to contribute to new business efforts by selling membership packages (season tickets) and partial plans. The Group Event Specialist is expected to exceed all revenue/sales goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embrace a highly coachable approach to excel in the sales process through comprehensive onboarding and training.
  • Demonstrate the ability to generate self-sourced business leads.
  • Drive revenue growth aligned with targets established by our leadership team, encompassing Memberships, Group Tickets, and partial plans for the Cleveland Charge.

  • Build relationships to provide excellent customer service and create repeat business

  • This position requires working frequent nights and weekends.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1+ years of sales experience required (preferably in a the sports industry).
  • A flexible schedule and ability to work frequent nights and weekends due to game-night responsibilities.
  • A strong sense of professionalism and teamwork.
  • A burning desire to grow a career in the business of sports.
  • A competitive spirit and openness to learn.
  • A relentless work ethic.
