POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cavaliers Operating Company, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and creative 'Coordinator, Growth Marketing' to assist with the organizationās Communications, Digital, and Marketing Teams in the development and deployment of all email & SMS marketing campaigns (marketing and transactional). We are looking for a candidate with a desire to help grow into a business leader while optimizing the existing, successful email & SMS programs for the Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA), Cleveland Charge (NBA G-League team), Cleveland Monsters (AHL team), and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. This candidate will have the opportunity to create and execute multiple new and exciting initiatives to grow our omni-channel marketing and automation program.
Under the guidance of the departmentās team leader, the 'Coordinator, Growth Marketing' position is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the organizationās omni-channel marketing campaigns (marketing and transactional), management of email & SMS databases, creation of team-related newsletters, and analyzing campaign performance.
This is an onsite position that requires working in-person at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in downtown Cleveland, OH. Local candidates preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the organizationās omni-channel marketing efforts by utilizing best practices, optimizing for conversion, engagement, and retention across email, SMS, and the organizationās chatbot technology partner.
- Help maintain the email marketing calendar and manage email production for each of our organizationās teams and arena.
- Coordinate creative assets with design team from all areas of the organization to ensure all email content is on brand, consistent in style, quality and voice while advising on best practices and template improvements.
- Lead QA process; be held accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of all executed campaigns.
- Play a key role in the implementation and refinement of UTM tracking and other link tracking initiatives to monitor and report on sales performance, optimizing campaigns based on data insights and ensuring continuous improvement in sales strategy execution.
- Communicate monthly KPI reports to highlight performance trends and sales revenue generated from email and SMS marketing efforts.
- Ensure deliverables and email/SMS deployments stay on schedule.
- Assist with email and SMS signup acquisition and generation strategy.
- Analyze user feedback across email, SMS, and chatbot channels to help identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1-3 yearsā experience with email and online marketing preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, preferably with experience specific to emails.
- Knowledge of email best practices and CAN-SPAM compliance.
- Experience-based knowledge of Adobe Web Premium programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver is preferred.
- Familiarity with responsive email design is a plus.
- Project management skills to manage calendars and creative assets within a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and game nights as assigned.
