Job Title: Senior Account Executive – New Business Development

Department: Ticketing – New Business Development
Reports To: Director of Ticketing - New Business Development
FLSA: Salaried, Non-Exempt, Fluctuating Half-Time Overtime

Job Purpose:

  • Maximize Pride in Reds Baseball! Responsible for the direct prospecting and selling of ticket packages; season, group, hospitality, suite, single and other revenue products for the Cincinnati Reds. This person must be self-motivated and possess the skills required to create and execute a sales plan to generate new business revenue for the Cincinnati Reds. This person will be responsible for individual and team ticket and revenue goals. Top performers will be considered for growth opportunities within the Reds Organization.
  • Experience, Education and Licensure:
  • 3-5 years sales experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build connection with the intent to sell ticket packages and other revenue products to businesses and individual fans via phone sales, face-to-face appointments and referrals
  • Identify, establish rapport and maintain constant contact with prospects and current clients
  • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods
  • Utilize CRM system to manage accounts, pipelines, productivity and measurements
  • Develop and execute the preparation and delivery of sales proposals
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Efficiently and effectively manage your time
  • Demonstrate positive leadership qualities
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to generate new sales
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including phone, written and face to face
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to plan, organize and implement a range of sales promotion programs and/or events

Work Environment:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment however employee will have “game-day” responsibilities where the employee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • Hours may include nights, weekends and holidays.
