Position Overview

The Charlotte Hornets are looking for a Team Attendant to assist the equipment staff with game-related tasks. This is a part-time, game-night role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and prepare locker rooms for both home and visiting teams.
Coordinate with visiting teams to address their needs.
Stock and manage Gatorade carts, NBA game balls, and other essentials.
Rebound for players that are shooting pregame.
Attend to players and staff in-game as needed or assigned to by Head Equipment Manager or Assistant Equipment Managers (mopping the court, water for players, collecting player warm-ups, etc.)
Breakdown of court post-game, which includes hydroculators, Gatorade carts, game balls, slip mats, items on scorers table, etc.
Assist the visiting team in unloading and loading the equipment truck and team busses during arrival and departure at Spectrum Center.
Assist with post-game clean-up, which includes laundry, restocking fridges, cleaning locker rooms, etc., other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Experience and Abilities

To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:

Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be available at least four hours before tip-off.
Must demonstrate a strong on-camera presence, professionalism, ability to work under pressure
Must have a positive attitude and represent the brand in a professional manner
Ability to maintain confidential information
Must be able to work all home games which includes nights, weekends, and holiday
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
