The Law Clerk will be responsible for supporting the Buffalo Bills Legal Department. This is a temporary position for summer 2024, beginning May 2024 and concluding August 2024, working approximately 35-40 hours per week. The Law Clerk will receive exposure to a variety of legal areas from an in-house perspective and gain experience in contractual, analytical, and other legal work in the context of a professional sports team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide legal research and analysis.
Review agreements and other documents.
Assist with special projects.
Support all Bills Legal Department efforts as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and be enrolled in and actively pursuing a Juris Doctor at an accredited law school in the United States; must have completed their 2L year and be a 3L in Fall of 2024.
Must be available to work during the 2024 summer a schedule of 35-40 hours per week at our Orchard Park offices during regular business hours.
Strong research, writing, and organizational skills are required.
Must be a self-starter and be comfortable working independently.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate projects from development through completion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
