POSITION SUMMARY

The Community Relations Coordinator will be responsible for developing and coordinating community programs, implementing league initiatives, and supporting general community outreach efforts. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with planning and execution of Bills and League community programs such as Bills HeartBEAT, Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, etc.
Support the coordination of team and player community events during the season and throughout the year
Support Community Relations initiatives at training camp including community group visits
Support and execute Community Relations game day events and experiences
Coordinate Community Ticket Program
Manage budget and impact report for assigned programs and events
Provide year end summaries for community programs and activities
Actively develop relationships with non-profit organizations in the WNY area to strengthen the outreach footprint
Assist with facilitating donations and community sponsorships
Assist with recruiting player and team representatives in participating in community outreach initiatives
Other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree
2 years related experience
Strategic and creative thinking with strong organizational skills
Valid driver’s license
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to take initiative and coordinate projects from development through completion
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Work schedule must be flexible – evenings and weekends required as needed
Physical demands
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb stadium stairs
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
