A professional basketball team and state-of-the-art arena/entertainment venue that specializes in creating memorable experiences for each guest we interact with. Responsibilities:

Work with Manager, Entertainment Experience to effectively execute activations on the State Farm Arena concourse during Hawks games.
Lead meetings, create scripts, and assign duties to the Flight Crew at Hawks home games.
Organize and keep up with game day and event calendars as well as complete activation recaps.
Deploy talent, elements and signage out at Atlanta Hawks community activations.
Coordinate load in and set up for community activations.
Assist with the coordination and communication of activation requests for talent teams including the Flight Crew, the ATL Dancers, the ATL Boom, the 404 Crew, Harry the Hawk, Hawks hosts, and Hawks DJs.
Research and present new ideas for concourse activations to help stay current and enhance the fan experience at games.
Style activation areas both at games and events, ensuring the space is effectively representing the Hawks brand and provides a high level of engagement opportunities for the Hawks Entertainment teams while focusing on the guests.
Communicate feedback, assess activations, and actively participate in brainstorming sessions to find new ways to enhance brand and presence at activations and events.
Assist with ordering new prizes, elements, signage, apparel and other event needs.
Help maintain arena and offsite storage areas.

Qualifications:

Experience in promotions and/or events.
Detail-oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality work within tight deadlines.
Be self-motivated; the ability to work well individually and as a team.
Strong organizational skills to continually maintain and update various activation and game day calendars.
Punctual, professional, and mature demeanor.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and Google Drive (specifically Sheets, Docs, and Forms).
General knowledge of the Atlanta Hawks and other NBA teams.
Experience operating large vehicles such as a box truck and cargo van is a plus.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
