POSITION OVERVIEW:

Atlanta Braves Ticket Sales Trainee must possess a strong work ethic and a passion to build a career in professional sports sales. Trainees are crucial members of our sales team that will assist in achieving our revenue and ticket goals at Truist Park. A high sales acumen, impeccable follow-up, and strong relationship building are imperative tools for successful trainees.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Generate new sales opportunities through outbound call campaigns, email prospecting and inbound lead creation to sell A-List Memberships, mini-plans, group events and hospitality rentals
  • Provide superior customer service to clients - existing A-List Members, prospects, and single game customers
  • Ability to convey empathy by asking poignant questions to find proper solutions to challenges
  • Meet or exceed daily outbound call volume as well as monthly revenue goals as set by manager
  • Maintain detailed notes on all calls and follow ups through Salesforce CRM system

TRAINEE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate, Bachelor's or Master's, with a GPA of at least 3.0 at graduation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and within all levels of the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent executive presence
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Must complete a background check

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have excellent speaking, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and detail-oriented person who can manage multiple tasks
  • Team player who demonstrates a consistent positive attitude and actively demonstrates our sales team core values
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
  • Archtics and Salesforce/CRM experience a plus
  • Traditional work week is Monday - Friday (37.5 hours)
    • Must have ability to work some overtime during gamedays and special events. Including some weekends & holidays
