POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technology Services Trainee is an entry level position supporting the Technology Services team in serving the internal users at the Atlanta Braves and The Braves Development Company. The successful candidate will have a strong willingness to learn troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues across different platforms including desktop, printer, POS, and audio/video systems. The ability to work independently and maintain relationships will be critical to the success of this role.

Technology Services is a crucial enabler of The Atlanta Bravesโ€™ success by delivering reliable, high-performance Technology systems and infrastructure that is easy to use. Technology Services works closely with business partners to improve and transform technology-enabled capabilities and the value of the Technology investment portfolio through innovation, execution, and outstanding user experience. Innovation, efficiency, and excellence are critical success factors.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide full IT environment end user support including desktops, VoIP systems, and POS systems - Retail and F&B
  • Support audio, video, surveillance, and display technology
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Responsible for the installation and maintenance of software, hardware, printers, etc.
  • Must be able to train end users on how to use IT systems and applications
  • Work nights and weekends when needed, including game coverage

TRAINEE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate, Bachelor's or Master's, with a GPA of at least 3.0 at graduation
  • Ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and within all levels of the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent executive presence
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical Degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft OS (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with desktop and printer support
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with other departments in the organization
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Technical internship, work experience, and/or certifications preferred
  • Spanish language skills preferred
