The Atlanta Braves Trainee Program is designed for applicants who are interested in beginning a career in professional sports. Trainees will work full-time from January 2025 through November 2025. Applicants are encouraged to visit braves.com/trainee for more information prior to applying.

The Atlanta Braves Trainee is a crucial part of the Atlanta Braves Community Affairs & Atlanta Braves Foundation team and will support a diverse range of departmental programs and initiatives, both in-ballpark and in the community. A successful Atlanta Braves Foundation Trainee has a passion for service and a desire to collaborate with others to make a lasting positive impact. This position also requires a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects at once.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Organize and coordinate monthly online auctions.
  • Manage 50/50 Raffle, interfacing with legal on Raffle rules, rolling jackpots, creative prizing opportunities, and more.
  • Process nightly 50/50 Raffle winnerโ€™s paperwork
  • Support in donor management, working in Salesforce to analyze giving strategies and communication to prospective donors.
  • Manage the Flags Over the Field program, military retirement recognition initiative.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Atlanta Braves Foundation community initiatives and fundraising events such as Braves Fest Gala.
  • Maintain inventories for all autographed and game-used memorabilia.
  • Manage autographed baseball sales online and on a game day.
  • Maintain various databases and spreadsheets.
  • Support all game day events and initiatives and community events.
  • Collect and distribute all departmental inbound mail.

TRAINEE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate, Bachelor's or Master's, with a GPA of at least 3.0 at graduation
  • Ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and within all levels of the company
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent executive presence
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Must complete a background check

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint
  • Prior fundraising, non-profit or event planning experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creative-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Passion to work in the sports industry and with non-profits
  • Ability to work 81 home games and outside events
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and maintain organization
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work well with others
