ATLANTA BRAVES SPRING TRAINING FACILITY EVENT STAFF POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

Grapefruit League Seasonal Staff 2024

Guest Relations/Hospitality Intern- Intern will work closely with aspects of customer facing operations. This includes promotions, suites, group areas and guest relations. Along with assisting with community appearances and the street team. Assists with front office work as needed. The Intern Program is open to any qualified applicant who is a college student preferably at junior, senior, or a graduate student with at least a 2.8 GPA. The Internship Program begins in early January and concludes April 1st. Specific areas in which an applicant many gain experiences include Stadium Operations, Guest Relations, and “Game Day” responsibilities. Trainees in this program will be scheduled to work a specified number of hours per week, which may vary depending on department assignments.This program is designed for applicants who are interested in pursuing a career in professional sports. The individuals who participate in each of our programs are paid, but are not entitled to benefits (i.e. insurance, vacation, etc.).

Ticketing & Sales Intern-Ticket office intern assists ticket office with ticket distribution, group sales, as well as working with the Ticket master system and assisting fans with ticket orders. Assists at gates as needed. The Intern Program is open to any qualified applicant who is a college student preferably at junior, senior, or a graduate student with at least a 2.8 GPA. The Internship Program begins in early January and concludes April 1st. Specific areas in which an applicant many gain experiences include Stadium Operations, Guest Relations, and “Game Day” responsibilities. Trainees in this program will be scheduled to work a specified number of hours per week, which may vary depending on department assignments.This program is designed for applicants who are interested in pursuing a career in professional sports. Front Office Intern- Front Office Intern assists where needed in the office including answering phones, clerical work and operational systems. The Intern Program is open to any qualified applicant who is a college student preferably at junior, senior, or a graduate student with at least a 2.8 GPA. The Internship Program begins in early January and concludes April 1st. Specific areas in which an applicant many gain experiences include Stadium Operations, Guest Relations, and “Game Day” responsibilities. Trainees in this program will be scheduled to work a specified number of hours per week, which may vary depending on department assignments.This program is designed for applicants who are interested in pursuing a career in professional sports. Operational Intern- will assist in the warehouse, food & beverage and maintenance as needed, assists in parking lot set-up, receiving, transfers and general maintenance.Intern assists the Food and Beverage Department and the Stadium Operations Manager where needed prior to the game and during the game. The Intern Program is open to any qualified applicant who is a college student preferably at junior, senior, or a graduate student with at least a 2.8 GPA. The Internship Program begins in early January and concludes April 1st. Specific areas in which an applicant many gain experiences include Stadium Operations, Guest Relations, and “Game Day” responsibilities. Trainees in this program will be scheduled to work a specified number of hours per week, which may vary depending on department assignments.This program is designed for applicants who are interested in pursuing a career in professional sports.
