The Role
We are looking for a Senior Operations and Planning Manager - Content to be responsible for overseeing and optimising our Content department’s workflows and processes, project execution and resource allocation.
By managing cross-departmental collaboration, the Senior Operations and Planning Manager will ensure that content activities are delivered on time, on budget and aligned with overarching business goals. In this exciting role, you'll be empowered to drive optimisation across the Content department and you'll also collaborate with other key colleagues in Communications, Marketing and Commercial to maintain transparency, manage dependencies and ensure a seamless way of working.

Your day-to-day
- Lead and oversee a team - you'll proudly drive a cross-functional team that supports the wider Content and Media department and enables them to operate to the highest level, providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Develop and implement the strategy - you will play a crucial part in the conception and execution of strategic operational plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
- Manage and optimise processes - you'll diligently streamline team operations through the effective management and optimisation of tools, systems, processes and workflows
- Act as a key liaison for the wider club - you will be pivotal in ensuring there's smooth communication and collaboration between the Content team and other departments across our club
- Define and monitor key performance indicators - you'll proactively create and oversee vital metrics to measure the success of operational strategies
- Evolve and enhance the department - you will courageously identify areas for development and drive continuous improvement via innovative initiatives and programmes
- Oversee crucial projects - you'll be responsible for the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they align with the department's goals and objectives and that they are completed on time, within scope and within budget
- Build impactful relationships with key stakeholders - you'll establish and uphold trusting relationships with senior colleagues to understand their needs and expectations and you'll enthusiastically provide them with insights and updates on operational performance, project progress and strategic initiatives
What we are looking for
- Background in operations or project management - you're equipped with proven experience in operations management or project management within preferably a content or media environment
- Inspiring and trusted leader - you pride yourself on your motivational leadership and team management skills and you're able to develop and coach a cross-functional team
- Strategic mindset - you come with excellent strategic planning and organisational skills and you possess a keen attention to detail
- Forward-thinking approach - you thrive when you're developing and implementing process improvements and operational strategies
- Proficiency with project management tools - you're well versed in using tools and software (e.g. Airtable, Asana, Trello, Monday)
- Analytical skills - you have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Best-in-class multitasker - you're confidently able to multitask and manage projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and you're armed with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills - you passionately build and uphold impactful relationships with colleagues at all levels, tailoring your tone and approach as necessary
