Job Summary:

The Arizona Cardinals Social Media Manager will be a part of a team that helps define the Cardinals brand and articulates its voice. We are seeking a candidate with the passion to engage fans of all ages through social media, analytics and revenue based content. Candidates should have a strong creative process and foresight to envision and execute a project from start to finish.

Primary Job Duties:

The Manager, Social Media will have the daily responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Perform thorough research to gain in-depth knowledge of audience segments, behaviors, and engagement.
  • Manage content for the Arizona Cardinals social media channels.
  • Assist in publication to social media and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with creative team to design content pillars and topical, relevant content in real-time.
  • Plan and maintain social content calendar; Work in collaboration with the Director of Social Media & Emerging Platforms ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Formulate social media campaigns for tentpole events and long-term seasonal objectives.
  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Social Media and Emerging Platforms & Senior Manager of Content & Creative to plan and schedule execution of content.
  • Collaborate with Business Development team to manage and create dynamic sponsored content that is relevant to partner brands and engaging with fans.
  • Manage club YouTube channel with objective of increasing subscription and views based upon informed data and S.E.O. best practices.
  • Create unique ways for audience engagement on live-streamed club programs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience: Minimum four years of professional experience in digital/social content and marketing strategy and publication.
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
  • Reliability, communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Expert knowledge of digital analytics tools including Emplifi, Google Analytics and native analytics for native platforms.
  • Experience managing a content calendar.
  • Creative, idea starter, football enthusiast.
  • Strong background working in a collaborative, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of football is not required but highly suggested as this role will need to have a working understanding of the game to fulfill several responsibilities.
  • Experience working for a major sports brand is preferred, but not required.
  • Flexible to work nights, holidays and weekends.
