Alpine F1 Team have a tremendously exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate to join the Aerodynamics team as a Junior Aerodynamics Performance Engineer. Based in rural Enstone, Alpine Juniors receive all the support needed to have a real impact on the performance of the car - and the opportunity to own their part in F1 history.


The Role

As part of the Aerodynamic Performance Group, this role will help further our on-track performance and rate of development by contributing to all aspects of the aerodynamic performance optimisation, modelling and correlation work.

The role will require the Junior Aerodynamicist to liaise with other teams in the aero department including: model designers, surfacers, CFD methodology, track side aerodynamicists, WT technicians and model makers.


Proactively use skills and develop knowledge to improve the methodology and procedures used in developing the assigned car area.

• Contribute to experimental aerodynamics projects in the wind tunnel, CFD and on track
• Assist with data analysis and correlation projects in all simulation environments
• Collaborate on preparation work for race and test events
• Communicate results and conclusions for the wider aerodynamic department and other car performance functions
• Deliver tools developments projects to continuously improve the toolset and methodologies
