The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington metropolitan area. The team competes in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland; its headquarters are in College Park, Maryland.

SUMMARY: In this role, you will be an integral part of our Ticketing and Suites department, with the day-to-day operations of the department and the execution of delivering a premium gameday experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support to the Vice Presidents, Directors and Managers in the Ticketing and Suites Department
  • Maintain budget spreadsheet tracking approved purchase orders and invoices for entire department  
  • Coordinate and execute departmental events, such as the Draft Day Party, Select-A-Seat, and others 
  • Fulfill Account Representative requests for out-of-office meetings and events 
  • Facilitate Washington Legends appearances at various Ticketing and Suites events 
  • Game day responsibilities when needed including assisting with Ticketing and Suites endeavors, or special events (pre, post and in-game)  
  • Maintain merchandise inventory and budget for both Ticketing and Suites departments  
  • Collaborate with the Finance, Legal, Partnership Marketing, and the Business Intelligence team when needed
  • Other duties as assigned  


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff, clientele, and vendors 
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong creative, analytical, and negotiation skills 
  • Must be proficient in Excel and database applications as well as Word and Outlook  
  • Ability to prioritize while handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment  
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and committed to teamwork
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Presents themselves in a professional manner, able to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Compensation: $21.63/hour + Bonus
