The Role and What You’ll Do:

The Athlete Development Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in executing key Athlete Development initiatives. This position reports to the Senior Director, Athlete Development and supports the conception, development, social media reporting, administrative tasks and implementation of strategies that will enhance UFC’s reputation as the home of the world’s best athletes among key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinates the logistics of UFC athlete appearances, sponsorships, and activations.
  • Tracks and internally messages UFC athlete appearances, sponsorships, and activations.
  • Calendar management including scheduling and coordinating various meetings as required in addition to adjusting the calendar to accommodate other requests.
  • Management of Athlete Development/SVP travel schedule including flights, hotel reservations, car rentals and weekly meetings.
  • Prepares various communications to external and internal stakeholders, including proofreading of written materials to ensure professional and accurate documentation.
  • Maintains tracking of current partner contracts and details, including ambassador program deliverables.
  • Performs general administrative, clerical and executive support tasks to ensure functional department workflow.
  • Responsible for invoice submission, invoice tracking, invoice approval, prior to approval by Athlete Development Senior Director/SVP.
  • Assists with the management of assets for all UFC live events.
  • Serves as a liaison between UFC athletes, managers and UFC staff.
  • Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

You Have These:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Sports Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a professional sports team, league or agency capacity.
  • Proven track record of working with athletes in a professional setting.
  • Excellent customer service attitude, experience and capacity.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with managing multiple projects at once, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a passport and travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and the ability to learn other basic computer skills.
