Job Summary:
Serve as main regular season operator of the Ross Xpression Character Generator/Graphics Playback system for the purpose of helping to execute the game night in-house production on Lightning Vision during Tampa Bay Lightning home games (and other Amalie Arena events as availability allows).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate the Xpression; with key emphasis on:
- Statistics (both automated and manually composed)
- Building/triggering of Motion Graphic Templates (both as full screen and keyable sources)
- Sequencing of players
- Ross-Talk Triggering with Acuity Switcher
- Incorporation of Real-time game data
- Quick composition and recall
- Organization of the above as it relates to teams, players, game flow/script, game stats/stories to create fast, efficient and correct means of recall
- Assist in the maintenance of managing the inventory
Qualifications:
- College education, BA or equivalent, or currently pursuing same.
- Very solid knowledge of and experience with operating the Ross Xpression
- Adequate knowledge of the game of hockey, the NHL and itβs players/teams and the Lightning
- Comfort level working within a live production environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive work relationships with co-workers, managers and executives.
- Commitment/flexibility/availability to work scheduled game nights/dates and the odd holiday as needed (largely evenings and some weekend dates as the Lightning game schedule dictates).
